Description
Our Illustrated Children’s Catechism Flashcards are an accessible way for children to learn essential Bible truths. These flashcards cover ALL 150 questions and answers of the catechism, with questions on the front and answers on the back. The cards are packaged in three sets (questions 1-50, 51-100, 101-150) for easy handling at home, church, or on the go.
The Children’s Catechism covers Bible fundamentals, including:
- Who God is
- Creation and Adam’s and Eve’s fall into sin
- The work of the Holy Spirit works to change the heart
- The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus
- The Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer
- The sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
These flashcards are designed to help anchor memory work. The engaging visuals keep both the learner and the teacher motivated. Pre-reading words provide sight words that will help emerging readers begin to recognize words in their own Bibles, including:
- God, Bible, Holy Spirit, Sin, Sins, Jesus, Christ, and Lord Jesus Christ
- Messiah, Prophet, Priest, King, and Savior
- Prayer, Lord’s Prayer, Heaven, Kingdom, Baptism, Lord’s Supper, Church, Hell, New Heaven, and New Earth
The flashcards will help all children understand big theological truths, but they are designed to especially help children with varying learning styles. Adapted teaching suggestions are included for students with learning differences, language disorders, or who are nonverbal.
